DESCRIPTION
Wiggle Box is an iPad companion app created to extend the Wiggle Room experience into a more personal, touch-first interaction. The focus was on playful touch input and responsive visual feedback in a mobile context.
ROLE
I was the sole Unity Developer, responsible for translating design proofs into a working iOS build. This included implementing touch interaction and feedback loops, as well as setting up a reliable internal build and testing workflow using Unity Cloud Build and TestFlight.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
- Implemented touch interaction behaviour and responsive on-screen feedback in Unity (C#).
- Built UI interaction logic with lightweight animation and feedback to keep interactions clear and satisfying.
- Set up automated iOS builds via Unity Cloud Build and distributed builds through TestFlight for internal review and iteration.
CHALLENGES
Getting touch interaction to feel right on iPad was more challenging than it looks. I had to iterate quickly on responsiveness and feedback while keeping performance predictable across builds. It was a constant balance between trying ideas fast and making sure nothing broke the core experience.
TECHNICAL
- Unity (C#): touch input handling, UI interaction logic, lightweight feedback/animation.
- iOS workflow: Unity Cloud Build for automated builds; TestFlight for internal distribution and feedback.
